                  Loud River(Single channel video, HD, stereo, 4 min 51 sec , 2025)

This work studies sites along the Connecticut River to Long Island Sound: riverboat launches with their crystal-clear water, the restless tides of Niantic Bay where I stand and look across at power plants, and highways stretching over factories and industrial facilities. The river’s loudness carries histories I cannot fully access, yet feel in the marrow.

It carries the memory of floods, of quarries emptied and filled, of labor and absence, of voices submerged and resurfacing. To follow the river is to trace these overlaps. Here, memory spills over highways, factories, and the quiet spaces between.

All in this loud river.
