Vicky Chunxin Gong was born in Eastern China, in a city where summers stretch long and the air carries the scent of boiled sugar. Their family, Han settlers by history, ran a small wedding candy business—one of those quiet shops where time seems to fold in on itself. Now based in the U.S., Vicky studies Studio Art at Wesleyan University, far from home but always carrying fragments of it in their pocket like polished stones.
